Even faith the size of a mustard seed has the potential to move mountains. But not one rock will be removed until you do something.

If you want to experience the blessing of Abraham on your life, you must PUT ACTION TO YOUR FAITH!

Do you remember what Peter said as he began the third chapter of his second letter?  He said, “This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance” (2 Peter 3:1).  We can paraphrase this verse in today’s language by saying, “I’m going to stir up your minds by reminding you over and over again concerning the truth of God’s Word.”  Peter was about to write some truths that the people had already heard, but he wanted to bring those truths to their remembrance again!

Well, Saints of God, that’s what I would like to do for you in this article.  I want to “stir up your pure mind” concerning some truths about faith that you have already heard.  It’s good for you to be reminded of these truths again and again because they are so vital to your success in God!

First, let’s look at the account of the twelve spies who went to spy out the land of Canaan.

NUMBERS 13: 27-32

27 And they told him (Moses), and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

28 Nevertheless, the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak (thegiants) there.

29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature.

I want to bring to your attention that the ten spies brought back an evil report.  If you’ll study what they said, you will find out they gave a report of unbelief.  They said, “We can’t do it.  We are not able. They are stronger than us.”  I know that it is correct to say that a report of unbelief and negativism is an evil report!

But Caleb and Joshua gave a good report.  Their report was filled with faith and belief.  They knew what God’s Word said and they wanted to act on it.  Caleb and Joshua had faith in God and they were ready to “Put Action to Their Faith.”  Saints of God, we will continue this exciting message next week.

Word for Today: " Vision "

A vision is a powerful thing.  It compels action. But people need to know how you plan to make that Vision a reality.  In the Old Testament, we read about a group of strategic leaders.  We are told they had a keen understanding of the times that enabled Israel to know what to do.  My question of the day for you is, “Do you have a sound strategy for implementing your vision?”
